Built on land heavily bombed during WWII, the Barbican was built between 1960 and 1976 as a radical vision of urban living. It was meant to be a self-contained “city within a city”, with walkways, gardens, flats, a church, a school and later, Europe’s biggest arts centre.

I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve shot here over the past decade but its not an exaggeration to say I find something new with every visit.
