近两年，我开始尝试各样的服饰与发色。
当我逐渐摸索出属于自己的风格，
一些陌生人、朋友、以及我的父母，
他们不接受现在的我，他们喜欢过去的“乖乖女”。
我父亲认为：“装扮是堕落。朴素是美德。”
我想告诉他：“爱美才是美德。”
于是我来了东京。

大きく変わりました、それは東日本大震災の後の事です。福島に住んでいた僕は目標も夢もなく憂鬱な日々を送っていました。でもそれは3.11の後に大きく変わりました。両親が離婚し僕は上京しました。それがキッカケで自分のやりたい事が見つかりむしろいい機会だったと思います。今は自分のブランドをスタートするか検討中です。
自分が誰かということに対しては自分でも分かりません、色々な人に対してそれぞれ違った対応をしていると気づきます、そうなると本当の自分とは何かと考える時もありましたが、むしろカメレオンのような人間ではないかと思います。今なら何にでもなれますし。

‘I am from the countryside and being my true self has been as easy as difficult. In the countryside, I was often seen as different, but people in Tokyo, especially in Harajuku, accept me for who I am. I can own my style now, no matter what, because I’ve learnt how to love myself. I feel cute and shining. I am flattered that people like that I am “kawaii”. I hope everyone can embrace their true selves.

本来の自分でいることは、簡単なことのようで難しいことだと思います。
周りになんて言われようと私のスタイルを貫き通すのは、今の自分が大好きだからです。誰よりも可愛いし、誰よりも輝いていると思ってます。その私を「kawaii」「好き」だと言ってくれる方がいることは、とても嬉しいし、皆も自分の好きな自分でいてほしいと思います。’

Behind KTALYST’s narrative is the concept of Wu Xing 五⾏ —the five elements in the Chinese culture. Whereas the classical Greek elements were concerned with substances or natural qualities, the Chinese elements are primarily concerned with process and change. Wu Xing originally refers to the five major planets — Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury, Mars, Venus — that creates five earth life dimensions.
