'Like dew and like lightning’
The exhibition features three large-scale, site-specific laser light installations that integrate photosensitive materials, a water screen, and kinetic motors, translating artist’s unique narrative and Eastern philosophical perspective into the context of the modern technological era, and inviting the audience to rethink the ‘Being’, the essence of immersive experience in our time.

The exhibition runs 17-26 April 2026 at @monopolberlin.
There was also a magical performance by @zionsdoor on opening day.

Amongst all the events and venues across Berlin New Media Week, there is one that holds a special place in our hearts.

"Intelligent Kin" was a central point for us. Our exhibitionthat spanned two weeks with an inspiring group of artists, blending the analog with the digital.

I've been given the great pleasure to create some light vibes at Soho House Berlin's high end events lately. I really should post about them - here's one from last month; a super fab Vouge Ball! What a fantastical experience it was! Awesome to get to take part in things like this.

I particularly liked the light scenery that I created in the last part of the clip. A sort of sweaty deep purple tone with UV element, together with deep red-pink beams of thick searchlights sweeping across the space at a low elevation. Then some white laser sprinkled on for spice.
For me, this brings me back to the movies of the 80s, while still staying very modern and sleek. Maybe my vote on how a chilled club should look like in 2022.

I'd like to tell you about this wonderful project I was a part of last year, together with fellow artists linked below. We were commissioned to build an exploratory chillout space for a cryptocurrency conference in Lisbon. We ended up creating this intricate maze of many rooms - each room with an installation by one of us. I made a 3-meter tall and 60 cm diameter "Energy Source". It was in the center of the maze and visually channeled the maze's energy, in sync with custom composed music played throughout the entire space.

When entering my room, spectators could either walk around the piece, or sit down on furry spots around it and take it all in. It was intended as a peaceful and reflective zone, away from the buzz of the high-tech conference happening on the floor above.

Special thanks go out to Theseas and Jules for really doing most of the assembly work. It wasn't easy, since I designed this thing to use as little plastics as possible, which made it very delicate to handle due to its sheer size. The next slides show the build process.

I liked how it became a clear channel of light, flowing seamlessly from floor to ceiling with minimal structural elements visible. What's your impression when seeing it?
