Finally evolving into my final form 👩‍🔬👽
@experimentwrld launching at @sephora feels like a long time coming… There are a million things I can post about this launch (trust you will be sick of me)… the amazing team behind it, the toiling away in the lab my co-founder @emalinnneee has done to get our products just right… but the simplest way to illustrate the journey is to see where I started 🐣

For career day in 3rd grade, I came to school dressed as my dream profession. A “scientist” 🥼🔬 yes I was hot and smart even at the tender age of 8 💅 

That love for science evolved as I grew up… I really gravitated towards chemistry and astronomy– the most magical sciences IMO🪄🪐 I always loved makeup (I am a Beauty YouTube™️ kid), but the moment puberty hit I started breaking out with cystic acne. That focused my science passion towards chemistry so I could make sure I was using the most effective skincare and ofc chemistry is great if you also love beauty 😌 I would scour r/skincareaddiction in its early days (s/o OG mods @labmuffinbeautyscience and @kindofstephen 🫶) to get the real scoop on products and ingredients. As a young teen I dreamt of one day formulating the products that sat on Sephora shelves… little did I know!!!

Now, at the ripe old age of 29 (or so it feels at this point) I’m proud to say that little Lisa would think I’m pretty damn cool. I got that chemistry degree (despite Orgo 1 + 2 trying to silence me ☝️), I get to work in an industry I personally love with people I’ve admired for YEARS, and I’m lucky enough to be building a brand that not only cares about the science, but the art in it as well. I always say Emmy and I are “creative chemists” and no where is that more clear than looking at the brand we built together 💚

I can’t wait to share more of this launch and campaign with you, thanks for the support all these years. This is just the beginning of us making everyone a little more chemistry curious ✨🔍
