I said that in my last post about LAO: this run on that day felt special to me. Being able to ride like this in front of my kids and my wife, my sponsors, all the other wakeboarders and spectators just made me happy and content and grateful. I would love to say I feel like I don’t have to prove anything anymore. I still feel like I need to prove it to myself. That day, I did.

I am talking about this like it was special in a general sense, when quite obviously the level has been raised so much that this is minimum baseline for contest riding now. The level of @trentstuckey and @gavinstuckey and @rivershedrick is just insane, and it’s gonna be fun watching everybody else catching up.

Being able to ride like this in front of my kids and my wife, my sponsors, all the other wakeboarders and spectators just made me happy and content and grateful. I would love to say I feel like I don’t have to prove anything anymore. I still feel like I need to prove it to myself. That day, I did.

I am talking about this like it was special in a general sense, when quite obviously the level has been raised so much that this is minimum baseline for contest riding now. The level of @trentstuckey and @gavinstuckey and @rivershedrick is just insane, and it’s gonna be fun watching everybody else catching up.
