Big shout out and thank you to @koolboblove dropping the latest @proh.mic 7” during his recent dj set at Gabriela’s in Brooklyn (his first in 5 years)! Really honored and appreciative for this release to be included in the mix. Also, thank you to @positivedeviancenyc for documenting the event. Even though we couldn’t be there in person, it is really great to witness the record being played out in the world and see the positive reaction from people who very well might be hearing the song for the first time. Peace. We’ve had the pleasure of partnering with Colonel Red to put out a couple great projects over the years. The first was the Street Player EP, with versions from @roane_namuh, @hot16.music, @mr_dain, and @mattnelkin1, all with unique vocals from Colonel Red. More recently was Joy, an amazing project he put together with producer @inkswel. And now, we are very happy to say we have another LP on the way very soon. Details to come later, but this vinyl and digital release turned out amazing and everyone involved can’t wait to share it with the world. 🎶👊🏼✌🏼

This Saturday from 2-5pm @specksrecords is hosting an in-store performance with WYZAKER WORLDWIDE in celebration of his new album FORMUL8! Additionally, to honor the occasion we are debuting an extremely limited amount of lathe cut 2LP vinyl copies of the project. The vinyl features alternative artwork silkscreened by WYZAKER himself!

Setting the vibes for the event are djs @djtonymafia.nep & Liquid Beat’s @mattnelkin1. Come through, check out the sounds and grab a copy of the LP, as well as get a signed CD or cassette.
