We’re in Vogue! We’re deeply honored to share this feature by Alyssa Hardy that dives into the details of our process and our ethos. From day one we envisioned a studio that could redefine the possibilities of American manufacturing. We wanted to design, build and finish every piece in house. We wanted our materials to be the most beautiful, our sourcing to be the most responsible, our designs to be exquisitely considered. We wanted our workplace to be joyful and supportive, to build a culture that valued each person’s contribution and made space for our humanness (and all the grace and grief and little spills and big triumphs that being human entails). We wanted to share the spirit and intention behind our designs, for our clients and community to understand the time and care and precision of craft involved in making each object. Five years in and we’re proving this dream is possible; it’s not the easy path but it’s the only one we want to be on.
