To kick start the conversation, here is a little intro editorial on how we began.

Celebrating 28 years in the Theatrical & Event Lighting industry, Steve Wilhelm, aka “the Lighting guy,” loves creating a beautiful environment with Lighting, Drape & Hanging Elements.

After being an apprentice at a theater in Branson; Steve & his wife, Liz, were on the move to Colorado, Georgia, California & Florida as he passionately pursued a career in Theatrical Lighting & Stage Design.

Since establishing roots in Fayetteville AR in ‘02; Steve enjoyed being the Lighting Director at the Walton Arts Center for three years. He slowly began offering Lighting Design services for private events, weddings & gala’s…. bringing Lightworks Events to life in ’05.

As Lightworks team has grown throughout the years, you will hear Steve & Liz both say, “We are beyond blessed to work with many outstanding Planners & Designers at breathtaking venues. It is a joy to create memorable celebrations for our wedding couples & community!”

we love honoring traditional white weddings. the garden roses, the hydrangeas, the restraint, the romance. but our job isn’t to repeat what’s been done. it’s to try to see it differently and to tailor it to you.

sometimes that means minimal tables and letting one sculptural moment do all the talking. like this ceremony stair installation where we went all in with real white vanda orchids, preserved hydrangea, and cascading amaranthus. traditional ingredients. reimagined.
