This is what Coffeeshop DNA sent me after the assault Friday evening.

If you ran a business and you were told one of your employees used racist slurs at a paying customer, would your first question not be which employee was it? What did they look like? What was their name?

They didn’t ask me what happened AT ALL. Because they know what happened. I have no doubt in my mind that this business is owned by and employs white supremacists, and they are doing everything they can to shield them from the consequences of their actions.

I am working with people from Amsterdam to get the police involved, as well as working to subpoena video footage from security cameras before any evidence is tampered with or destroyed.

To everyone who has had my back since Friday and sent kind supportive messages, thank you and I appreciate you. To the hundreds of Dutch people who have sent me DMs apologizing for what happened to me, I appreciate you. I have no intent to back down from this until the owners and employees of Coffeeshop DNA are held accountable.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Leonce is uncompromising, blending American urban influences with experimental electronica into a hardline, distinctive sound. As co-founder of Club Morph and its label Morph Tracks, he has been instrumental in shaping a hybrid electronic language rooted in club culture.

From international tours to landmark moments like supporting Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, his trajectory has been both expansive and precise. He continues to build momentum with his debut album System of Objects and recent releases on LuckyMe, Nervous and Fabric. His music has also been featured in year-end lists including RA’s Best 25 Tracks of 2024 and DJ Mag’s Top Albums of 2024. With a new EP on the way, he stands at the forefront of the global club and techno scene.

As co-founder of Club Morph, he’s helped shape Atlanta’s underground electronic scene and has earned support from artists like Frank Ocean, Beyoncé, Honey Dijon, Fred again, Ben UFO, Joy Orbison, Yaeji, DJ Holographic, Mochakk and more.

Following headline sets at Boiler Room Atlanta, tours across Europe, and supporting Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour in Atlanta, Leonce continues to push forward-thinking club music worldwide.
