Because of all his roles, no matter the size, @thebillwise Bill Wise was a HUGE part of the indie film community. Nothing small about him. Yesterday consisted of off and on blubbering and sitting in stunned silence. The loss of @thebillwiseis very difficult to absorb.

Bill was always very loving to me. While filming Apollo 10 1/2, we were glued together. “Where we sitting, Eddy?,” when it was time to grab lunch. He would leave little treats in my dressing room. “Let’s give them a gaht damn show,” he’d quietly say before a take. He had the RPMs of a thousand hummingbirds. Most of my time performing with him was just surfing on the verbal tsunami he’d effortlessly spout. It was overwhelmingly impressive.

He worked on *anything*. He pursued every opportunity and milked every scene. There wasn’t a character or script that confined him. Bill shined bright and big and loud.

And to imagine not seeing him again, hearing about his next project, getting Proud Poppa pictures of him and his boys or his Herb texted, or one of his prolific IG messages (… “Don’t be ‘fraid. Doubt is the devil.”… )… whew. Gonna be another blubbering day, I suppose

There’s a big hole for lots of us. A suddenly absent pillar throws the entire structure askew. Gentle hugs to all that knew him

I will miss Bill very, very, very much.
