Still beaming with JOY after joining RAYE for her Texas shows 🪩✨👠
There are artists whose talent fills a room, and then there are artists whose humanity does too. RAYE and her entire band are bursting at the seams with both💓💓
Her songs hold heartbreak, rage, tenderness, humor, survival… there’s something in them for everyone, and they indeed leave you with so, so much HOPE ❤️ also loved how RAYE has her sisters @amma and @the.absolutely perform with her on the road! Having two sisters myself, this was probably one of the most touching parts to witness!
Ending the Texas shows in my hometown of Austin left me in all my feels 🫶 I’m so deeply inspired by what’s possible when an independent artist builds something this authentic in every way. If you haven’t listened to or bought her album yet, this is your sign ❤️!!
So much love to RAYE, her incredible band and team, and @sarenaviolin for all the warmth and welcome🌷

What began as a leap of faith—starting a project with someone I had never met, @alexjimboviteri —turned into one of the most meaningful, joy-filled experiences of my life. My sister @ritabel and I are incredibly lucky to make music together and to have worked with Alex and the open-hearted artists and people of Ecuador to bring @guayaquilchamberplayers to life.
GCP, while community-focused, was also a deeply personal quest to reconnect with our roots. Our father was born and raised in Guayaquil, so this project became a way to give back to the place that made him the extraordinary person we love. It was the greatest honor to stand on that soil—soaking in its beauty, resilience, & generosity—and celebrate it all through music.
To GCP musicians: thank you for sharing your gifts, your souls, and for giving your all to each rehearsal and concert. It felt liberating to play these concerts with nothing but love, playfulness, and curiosity!
Heartfelt thanks to:
@orquestasinfonicadeguayaquil & @musica.ucuenca for the honor of performing the Dvořák Cello Concerto for the first time!
My beloved family @caro_andr @vfapancho @rm_geigel @ritabel @zstoltz for unwavering love & support ❤️
@alexjimboviteri for leading us with your bold vision and bringing us all together
@dibujosdecristina your powerful artistic vision & faith in GCP helped carry us forward
@marpa_mn your poetry, presence, & warmth united our community
@emiliosolla, for the beautiful honor and gift of writing “Two Condors Dance”
@academiapepper @conservatorioantonioneumane @musica.ucuenca for inviting us to lead workshops
@davidv.guitar for reading music with me in the most beautiful nook in Cuenca
@gabrieljimboviteri for being a world-class tour guide & keeping us afloat with love
@fanyjulieta, thank you for opening your home & heart with such warmth
@gaabstudio & @ernestomolestina for capturing all the magic through your lens
@sphinxorg for enabling and supporting me as a proud recipient of the MPower artist grant
