For me, musing is more than posing & runway.
It’s embodying a designer’s vision.

Absorbing the concept crafted for months & bringing the garments to life.

Without models clothes simply live on hangers in closets or on manicans.

-But for a few hours I get the chance to breathe life, stretch my limbs, and give energy into stitches, fur, & fabrics.

When I went to the casting I immediately was taken aback by the studio space covered in childhood photos, scraped textiles, archived pieces, & learned this show was to pay tribute to INNOCENCE.

‘’Explore childhood as an evolving journey.
The collection unfolds across three distinct phases:
Boundless Imagination, Rebellion, & Adulthood

Opening the emotional space for memories, exploring where innocence & awareness meet’’ -Ruben

Taking part in phase 1 of childhood: Boundless Imagination-

To me the fluff & fur brought out a bratty gyal who refused to let anyone limit her beliefs.

When you’re young, you feel like you can do anything, shove naysayers out the way,
Say “no” w/ clarity, stomp until you get what you want,
& push boundaries until adolescence tells you other wise…

Mind you as a child I was extremely shy around people.
But in my room I would build dynasties of art, & create the exact life I live today.

Full of color, loud expression & my vibrant Caribbean aura everywhere.

For me, musing is more than posing & runway.
It’s embodying a designer’s vision.

Absorbing the concept crafted for months & bringing the garments to life.

Without models clothes simply live on hangers in closets or on manicans.

-But for a few hours I get the chance to breathe life, stretch my limbs, and give energy into stitches, fur, & fabrics.

When I went to the casting I immediately was taken aback by the studio space covered in childhood photos, scraped textiles, archived pieces, & learned this show was to pay tribute to INNOCENCE.

‘’Explore childhood as an evolving journey.
The collection unfolds across three distinct phases:
Boundless Imagination, Rebellion, & Adulthood

Opening the emotional space for memories, exploring where innocence & awareness meet’’ -Ruben

Taking part in phase 1 of childhood: Boundless Imagination-

To me the fluff & fur brought out a bratty gyal who refused to let anyone limit her beliefs.

When you’re young, you feel like you can do anything, shove naysayers out the way,
Say “no” w/ clarity, stomp until you get what you want,
& push boundaries until adolescence tells you other wise…

Mind you as a child I was extremely shy around people.
But in my room I would build dynasties of art, & create the exact life I live today.
