@LexaGates' "The Wheel" (2026) -
New York native musicians are some of our favorites here at AFTRPRTY, with rapper-singer Lexa Gates being no exception. The Colombian-Puerto Rican Queens born artist has been gearing up the last few months for the release of her newest record, "I AM", dropping notable singles such as "Latency" and most recently "Estranged". After wrapping up her second headlining tour in December with a sold out hometown performance at New York’s Webster Hall, Lexa had one last offering for her city before the release of her album: that being "THE WHEEL"
Similar to the artist’s last album, 2024’s “Elite Vessel”, Lexa again participated in a live art performance for fans to view. Instead of being locked in a glass box in the middle of Union Square, Lexa this time held an art installation that took place at SoHo’s “Jeffry Deitch Gallery" involving her walking on a life sized hamster, for 10 hours, until midnight.
Friends and fans of the artist were about to come and go as they pleased, from 2:00pm-12:00am, with the opportunity to listen to the album early in headphones (Slide 3) and write personal messages to Lexa (Slide 7) as an immersive experience before the project's release. AFTRPRTY was lucky enough to attend the event and gather some photos to share with you!
Listen to Lexa Gates’ newest album “I AM” OUT NOW!

A Collection of some significant moments, personal favorites, and unreleased photos taken through all of 2025
Hit some very important shows this year, @wearemichelle's last tour and last performance as a band, @sahbabii's Resurrection Tour after not being on the road for several years, along with shooting not one but two of @dr_stink's tours this year, @turnoverva also had their 10th anniversary tour for their record Peripheral Vision, and so many more amazing shows.
Thank you so much to everyone who's been here for the ride this year - new faces, old faces.. doesn't matter. I appreciate everyone who follows this page immensely, and hope we can all be there for one another for next year and many more to come. Once again here are some of my favorite shots and moments this year, and I wish nothing but the most success and happiness for everyone in 2026.
Thank you.
