We are honoured to have worked with Anti-Discrimination NSW to create a new targeted video made for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, sharing clear and culturally safe information about the LGBTQA conversion practices ban and the support available to mob.

Conversion practices that target LGBTQA mob are harmful and damaging. They try to change
or suppress a person’s sexuality or gender identity. These practices are now against the law in NSW.

The video is a specific resource for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities regarding the new law banning conversion practices for LGBTQA people.

The event was hosted by hilarious and proud Indigenous actress @stephtisdellcomedy , featuring special guest speakers Chris Csabs (Co-founder, SOGICE Survivors) and Christian Tisdell (Transforming Aboriginal Outcomes - DCJ).

Care Guide: A GUIDE FOR THE BAPTIST UNION OF VICTORIA -PROVIDING SAFETY FOR LGBTQA PEOPLE OF FAITH

We worked with @veohrc and @the_buv to create this useful booklet that explains the Change or Suppression (Conversion) Practices Act 2021 in the context of the Baptist faith. It is an honour to be able to support queer and trans people of faith and wonderful to see faith groups, like the Baptists of Victoria choosing to fully embrace and support their queer and trans parishioners.
