Finally got solid spectrum inputs from system audio working - passing it into the fluid sim works pretty well!

Lotta other long standing bugs fixed and improvements made for this, too (half-texel sampling offsets, dye oversaturation, vorticity confinement, alpha compositing, etc).

The pneumatically actuated mechanical iris I've been working on the past few months finally all came together 😁

The name of the piece is "Sic Semper Lepores" and its purpose in life is to decapitate chocolate bunnies. Many were harmed in the making of this video.

I'll be writing a series on its design and fabrication coming up!

The new camp sign for my camp, Servants of the Secret Fire in 2023. This is with the acrylic mirror lettering on, so aesthetically more-or-less complete... although the protective film hasn't been peeled yet, so they're a diffuse, blurry mirror. Looking forward to peeling them on playa 😁

Loved the live funk jazz from Angelo Tomandl & Omigato, I'd never VJ'd along to a live band before 🎷. Also jammed hard to that eclectic banger of a set from @baltazarortiz 😄 (boots & cats > socks & dogs, srry sock lovers)
