It takes immeasurable courage to rely solely on the human voice to create sound, especially when venturing into realms of free improvisation. But if one thinks of it, using the vocal chords as a primary instrument must be as old as mankind itself, mimicking the many of sounds nature around us produce.

Precisely that raw, primal energy is what can be found in @audrey.isabel.chen 's hyper-extended chanting, which she paired with @tashidorjiiii 's equally primal approach on guitar one late Summer night in 2023 at @morphine_records_raum Berlin.

Yesterday I stumbled on a series of posters I made for @klankhaven in 2024. Most of them I didn’t share yet, but seeing them together now, I really like them.

@__the_ego was throwing multiple concerts every month, so everything had to be done quick. No feedback rounds (that was the deal 😅). The speed made it chaotic, but also fun and pushed me to find ways to ease the workload by building my own design tools in TouchDesigner, p5.js and even some AI stuff.

I liked working ad-hoc, improvising on a computer and tried to make something that felt organic like a painting or the music itself, while still being clearly digital. That contradiction is what makes it work for me.

The speed made it chaotic, but also fun and pushed me to find ways to ease the workload by building my own design tools in TouchDesigner, p5.js and even some AI stuff.

I liked working ad-hoc, improvising on a computer and tried to make something that felt organic like a painting or the music itself, while still being clearly digital. That contradiction is what makes it work for me.

Yesterday I stumbled on a series of posters I made for @klankhaven in 2024. Most of them I didn’t share yet, but seeing them together now, I really like them.
