Une étrange lumière éclot par endroits et s’efface. Feuilles et pétales s’agitent à leur rythme, comme le souvenir d’un champ aux herbes hautes foulées aux pieds. Les ombres comme les éclats fragiles des fleurs font naître un vivifiant trouble. Ce que l’image donne à voir n’est pas prélevé dans le réel, mais reconstruit par la mémoire. Elle évoque moins une prairie qu’un état d’âme, une vibration de la matière saisie à la lisière d’un invisible. S’agit-il d’un champ de fleurs ou d’une vision intérieure ? Ainsi commence l’expérience d’une œuvre de Kim Boske, non par la représentation d’un monde, mais par l’évocation d’un lien mystérieux entre ce qui fut perçu et ce qui vibre désormais.
Le travail de l’artiste néerlandaise interroge la nature du réel et les formes que le visible peut prendre lorsque l’on s’affranchit de la linéarité du temps. Rejetant la notion d’instant figé, elle explore la superposition et l’indistinction des états, pour proposer une vision où les temporalités s’entrelacent et les perceptions se déplacent.
Dans sa série Untitled (Flowers), cette approche prend la forme d’une déambulation visuelle à travers un jardin. Des fleurs aux tons ocre, orange, blanc cassé et rose poudré s’insinuent dans un splendide enchevêtrement de branchages et feuillages, transformant la scène en un paysage serein où tous les habitants de l’image coexistent pacifiquement et sans bruit.
Dans la série Kanazawa, l’artiste construit ses images nées de sa fascination pour le jardin japonais Kenroku-en.
Les œuvres sélectionnées pour Chaumont-Photo-sur-Loire témoignent d’une attention minutieuse aux métamorphoses de la nature et invitent à la contemplation. Par cette approche sensible, Kim Boske ne se contente pas de représenter la nature, elle en réactive la présence. Une étrange lumière éclot par endroits et s’efface. Feuilles et pétales s’agitent à leur rythme, comme le souvenir d’un champ aux herbes hautes foulées aux pieds. Les ombres comme les éclats fragiles des fleurs font naître un vivifiant trouble. Ce que l’image donne à voir n’est pas prélevé dans le réel, mais reconstruit par la mémoire. Elle évoque moins une prairie qu’un état d’âme, une vibration de la matière saisie à la lisière d’un invisible. S’agit-il d’un champ de fleurs ou d’une vision intérieure ? Ainsi commence l’expérience d’une œuvre de Kim Boske, non par la représentation d’un monde, mais par l’évocation d’un lien mystérieux entre ce qui fut perçu et ce qui vibre désormais.
Le travail de l’artiste néerlandaise interroge la nature du réel et les formes que le visible peut prendre lorsque l’on s’affranchit de la linéarité du temps. Rejetant la notion d’instant figé, elle explore la superposition et l’indistinction des états, pour proposer une vision où les temporalités s’entrelacent et les perceptions se déplacent.
Dans sa série Untitled (Flowers), cette approche prend la forme d’une déambulation visuelle à travers un jardin. Des fleurs aux tons ocre, orange, blanc cassé et rose poudré s’insinuent dans un splendide enchevêtrement de branchages et feuillages, transformant la scène en un paysage serein où tous les habitants de l’image coexistent pacifiquement et sans bruit.
Dans la série Kanazawa, l’artiste construit ses images nées de sa fascination pour le jardin japonais Kenroku-en.
Les œuvres sélectionnées pour Chaumont-Photo-sur-Loire témoignent d’une attention minutieuse aux métamorphoses de la nature et invitent à la contemplation. Par cette approche sensible, Kim Boske ne se contente pas de représenter la nature, elle en réactive la présence.
