Very happy to share my new partnership with @kajimotomusic , joining their roster of illustrious artists for representation in Asia.

One of the great pleasures and privileges of an international career has been the opportunity to make music with musicians of diverse backgrounds, and to interact with and get to know audiences around the world.I can’t wait to deepen my musical connections in my birth country, Japan, and beyond!

So grateful for @askonasholt @mizonbaker84 my general management team for their continued support and guidance, and for graciously welcoming this addition to my career management!

Looking back at what was quite a blur last week, closing a spectacular run of The Hours with my @metopera debut! Thank you @nezetseguin for having the belief that I could do this, three years ahead of time- your faith in me is the greatest gift.

So grateful to my family and friends all over who made the trip and navigated a cyberattack-induced ticket situation to be there for me.

@metorchestra @metoperachorus @metoperaactors @metoperaballet and our incredible cast - thank you for having my back and performing brilliantly as you always do!

Couldn’t have done it without the support of my newfound musical family of the Met Music Staff- @tlausmann @pianohowie @photosfromthepromptbox #dimitridover @bryanwagorn @kathrynlabouff @fitzsousa

@composerkevinputs and #gregpierce : how special to be a part of your journey with this work, from workshops all the way to the Met! Will miss our COVID safe “hangs” in Cincinnati way back when!

The greatest possible happiness!

Last night, violin soloist Aubree Oliverson took the stage at Mahaffey Theater and shared what Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 has meant throughout her musical journey 🎻Then she carried that story into every corner of the hall with remarkable virtuosity.

The evening marked TFO debuts for both Aubree and guest conductor Kensho Watanabe, in a program featuring Brian Raphael Nabors’ Pulse, Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1, and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 5.

Shoutout to the Boys and Girls Club, who also joined us for a backstage tour in our Strings Project program.

The journey continues tonight! 👇

🎼 In Silent Night, the orchestra sets the stage for massive chaos and tender, intimate moments in Kevin Puts’s award-winning score. Hear from Conductor Kensho Watanabe how musical colors and themes tell this vivid wartime story.

A look back to last December when I had the honor of conducting @tokyophilharmonicorchestra and @newnationaltheatretokyo chorus in their annual performances of Beethoven 9 - a tradition that began in Japan organized by German POWs in 1918. Today, “Daiku” is performed an estimated 250-300 times in December, as the work has woven itself into the fabric of Japanese culture.

What a special experience it was to return to the country of my birth to participate in this tradition for the very first time, with an orchestra that I’ve been lucky enough to get to know well over the last few years.

To many more unforgettable musical experiences in 2026!
Happy New Year! 🎉🥳🍾🎆🎇
