Grand Finale Willamette River Dragon/Monster!
Had such a magical time at @sjbizarre last weekend! My favorite event of the year, hands down.
My family helped hand out bubbles to the kids in the audience, and it was awesome looking out of the dragons mouth at a crowd full of bubbles!

We’re thrilled to welcome Mr. Vale’s Math Class to the 11 am slot of our Family Fun Showcase, but here’s a little secret: @mrvalesmathclass is NOT a kids band. In fact, we booked them more for the grownups among us, but we won’t tell your dancing, smiling kids if you don’t! 🤫 This six-piece funk band has horns that knock down the door and percussion-laden grooves that perfectly accompany any dance party. 🪩 While you might not leave with a deeper understanding of math, you (and your little ones) are guaranteed to have a great time.
Starting the day on the Plaza Stage, right at 10 am, we’ll have Mo Phillips @themophillips , a returning favorite for our littlest fans who will have them enthralled from the first note with his unique blend of oddball rock he’s dubbed Mo-Fi. What is Mo-Fi, you ask? A TERRIBLY UNSOPHISTICATED WAY TO HAVE A GREAT TIME! 🥸
And between their sets, don’t miss nationally recognized puppeteer @kcpuppetree, whose “trash” puppets not only delight with wacky characters but also show the power of reusing and recycling materials.
The Bizarre — featuring two stages of FREE music, plus 220 craft and food vendors — goes from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. before, during and after the St. Johns Parade. For a full schedule, plus music samples and a list of vendors, check out the link in our bio!
