Powerful fragility

I did the beauty session in 2021 for the MUD makeup school. Cynthia didn't have much modeling experience when these photos were taken, but it was already clear what an exceptional model she is. 

The pace of work during the whole week was quite intense and I really regretted that Cynthia joined us for only one day. In front of the camera she can show charisma and disarming fragility. Not many people can do that. 

Andrea - the makeup artist during photo selection chose a wonderful portrait that shows off her makeup skills well, but I kept thinking about this flower picture. The white of the petals seems to glow, and Cynthia's gaze whispers some secrets into the viewer's ear.

Whenever I take a portrait of someone in a dressing gown against the backdrop of an ordinary flat, the image from the Nilsson Schmilsson album cover comes back to me. And it's a chain reaction that sets off the humming of Harry Nilsson songs all day long. 😆

Eva, however, is wearing a silk kimono like no one else. 🩷
