Our setup is a FLX 10 and a MacBook running Rekordbox. Headphones are available upon request, all you need to bring is a Rekordbox formatted USB

Join us for Exo 005, a showcase of everything dubstep from its gritty UK origins to brostep, 140, festival dubstep, and riddim

Headlining the event is Ottawa’s own GINTO (@ginto.wav), a rising star with credits playing Midnight Forever, Realms Ottawa, and much more, bringing a high-energy riddim set from 1-2

JLowe (@jlowe.dj), recently coming off his GRIDWRKS debut, promises a high energy set bringing festival dubstep to Tiki

Justus Walker (@justus.walker) is opening, showcasing the development of dubstep in the UK from its deep, gritty origins, the split between post dubstep/future garage and brostep, and finally the resurgence of early dubstep depth within modern 140.

3 djs will have the honor bringing the 1990's-2000's here at the @poatikibar downtown Ottawa Ontario.

Starting off the night with @justus.walker, he'll be bringing you back into the 90's rave scene for the first 2 hours, (10-12).

Then we have @kyal0000, he'll bring the noise up with trance, techno and hardstyle, making a hour that make make your feet stomp! (12-1)

Last but not least, we have @tixology_ca, hell bring you all the oldschool hardstyle feel to get your feet move with hard kick and melodies that will make you nostalgic. (1-2)

Door opens at 10pm.

Showcasing a wide variety of genres from the early days of EDM from Italo Disco to Makina, Breakbeat to Techno, and House to Hardstyle, we’re celebrating the roots of rave culture.

There are no genre restrictions, just have fun, test some new music out, and get to know some new DJs or support some established ones in the scene

We have a laptop running Rekordbox and a FLX 10, there is a second input available if you’d like to use your own laptop but a USB is more than enough

There are 10 spots total, and we run our events weekly, so if they fill up we’re always happy to have you next week!

To kick off the relaunch, our first event will be on January 24th from 10-2, and we’ll be playing throwbacks, recession pop, and club music from @justus.walker, @beastbunny.wav, and other guests
