Ecstatic to hear @junusorca in Pōneke following his visceral Dojo set during the storm at @twistedfrequencyfestival .

Junus Orca is an artist hailed for crafting sonic landscapes that resonate with a visceral sense of nostalgia. His soundscape traverses ambient resonance, avant-pop, harsh noise, and the gritty edges of industrial and dub-infused techno, all juxtaposing raw, analog elements with an evocative emotional core.

Expect a live set stacked with emotive waves of ethereal noise and deconstructed rhythms, reframing his existing catalogue with a sense of isolationism.

Subtle Reflections is out today on @ninaprotocol and @bandcamp. I have very limited CDs (only 10) available for pre-order via Bandcamp. It felt right for this to have a physical copy, even if just a few. They will be available mid February.

This record was written in 2020, and I’ve been using it to zone out since. I don’t normally feel connected to music that I wrote so long ago, but this one still feels good to me. It’s a collection of 5 ambient tracks all sonically connected in one way or another and woven together by a narrative that exists in my head.
