The Outfall: A wasteland of Mud, 2022, audiovisual installation.
Shout out to @zontiga who generously supported the entire work and also friends and family who made this piece come true. I truly appreciate all the feedbacks and thoughts I received along the way, they shaped the work. 💛
“What does decaying smell like?
Kuala Lumpur, was nothing but a “muddy confluence” at the very first place, until mining industry turned it into a prospering capital city. For years, water disruption has been a crucial crisis to the residents. As we’ve been gazing at the tip of skyscrapers, we disregard how the city was built, and on what it was built. The city is sinking, and now is when we see the corpses of inequality, neglected collective rights and climate injustice begin to surface.
By projecting a loop on wall, every channels are a sequence behind, rearranging the direction of process. I wonder, are we moving forward or backwards? Time flows in river, offering a way to think about resources, infrastructure, social process, as well as the failing system.”
The show is ending this weekend, don’t forget to check it out!#artinstallation #videoinstallation #filmphotography

Feeding Anxiety, interactive video installation, 2020. A collaborative work with the artist @shengss5161, was shown in the CalArts gallery.
Feeding Anxiety
We live within medium,
and waiting to be fed by anxiety.
Depressed and inspired by this pandemic, we found anxiety spreads faster than infection. In the flux of information, the world is connected, positively and negatively.
A pile of wires forms a stretching network that connects the audience and the performer while separating the two into different spaces. Using the interactive devices, the audience triggers and awakens the performer, indirectly participates in the performance, visualizing the experience of weaving between the trouble and cure in this era.
*Haven’t really been showcasing my video work on this profile although I work with moving image for most of the time. Guess now is the time 🙌🏻

28 has been the wildest year I could have ever imagined. I’m proud of every step I took in faith, following my heart and His guidance.
Stepping into 29, I deeply appreciate the woman I’ve become, and excited for the woman I’m still becoming.🩵✝️💙
