Had a little me weekend. Spent Friday night on a little bowling date with @kari_j (who I let beat me). Spent yesterday brewing beer (aka trying beer and watching) with my friends over at @erraticfermentations & today I bebopped around the city. It was such a beautiful day today after such a tough winter. Which really had me thinking about how much my life has changed in the last year. I never thought I’d end up near NYC. I never thought I wouldn’t be doing film. But even though there’s been hard days out here, every time I see the NYC skyline, I’m encouraged by a new friend that was a stranger 6 months ago, a friend from CA reaches out, allow myself the chance to slow down and enjoy a coffee, or even simply come home from work and only have funny stories to tell @kari_j about my day, I’m reminded on how much better life has gotten. The winter was hard but the spring is here. Now, it’s time to cut back on the pizza and let the outside reflect the inside.

I will take trudging through the snow to go Christmas shopping in NYC over driving in bumper to bumper traffic anytime.

34. Quietly moved back to the east coast, specifically right outside NYC, a little while back. There were a lot of people I didn’t get to say goodbye to that I really wanted to. But being back on the east coast I already feel more like myself than I have in years. A feel a lot lighter (maybe not physically cause ya boi has been enjoying the pizza in NYC a little to much) and as I celebrate my birthday I’m excited to have a new year on the best coast, next to the best city in the world, and know that there is nothing holding me back. Glad to be back to the party 🫡🎉🎊
