We are excited to present Trivia, Treats, and Training by @greenleafpetresort this June 7th at noon. You can RSVP for a wristband today or also grab one at the brewery the day of the event. This will be a great event for all dogs any age so please stop by bring the little puppers and have a great time. The day will be filled with learning some new etiquette tricks in the training program while your dogs also enjoy some really cool treats.

We've been so impressed with @erraticfermentations so far. They have a strong, unique menu and some great collaborations. You could find anything from a Mexican Lager to a Saison to a Czech Dark. And the taproom is one of the most inviting we've ever found. This is a pretty new brewery so add it to your list of top spots to visit!

BRADLEY BEACH: There is a new brewery in town, and it is already pouring seriously delicious beer.

@erraticfermentations is the passion project of New Jersey locals who took their love of home brewing and turned it into something special. The result is a thoughtfully crafted brewery that is both creative and welcoming and they are just as excited to see your pup walk through the door as you are. Leashed and friendly dogs are welcome inside the stylish tasting room and out back on the patio.

For such a new spot, the tap list is impressively well-rounded. Our standout was the Duke of Nowhere dark mild, smooth, flavorful, and effortlessly drinkable. The Wasp’s Nest DIPA, a collaboration with Oakflower Brewing, brings a bold, unique twist, while the Looking for Pancake imperial stout delivers just the right touch of sweetness without going overboard.

We also had the chance to chat with Dan, one of the owners and brewers, whose excitement is as fresh as the pours. It is clear this space is more than just a brewery, it’s a playground for creativity, experimentation, and great beer. Cheers!

Season 6 Episode 5: Erratic Fermentations Grand Opening and March Madness: Hops Edition

In this episode Dan travels down to Bradley Beach, NJ to visit the upcoming home of Erratic Fermentations. He talks to Mike and Danny of @erraticfermentations about their upcoming grand opening this Saturday April 4th. And no, this isn’t a late April Fools post, it’s finally happening and we couldn’t be more excited.

We all reminisce to our first episode together over 5 years ago and talk about the journey that got them to where they are about to be. One of the beers that wow’ed Tom and I back then was Looking for Pancake and the non barrel aged version will be on draft for the opening. We talk about that beer and two of the collabs that will be part of the debut tap list. They also talk about how they got into beer and all the challenges they’ve faced trying to find a home for their brewery. Mike and Danny also talk about how their experiences in their professional life helped to mold the physical space that they will be in. We are super excited for their opening and hope that everyone can make it out this Saturday.

Also in this episode, Joey of @heatmiserbrews joins the podcast and talks about his second annual March Madness hops bracket. It’s in the finals now with two heavy hitters in the hop game squaring off. He explains how he narrowed down the top 64 IPA makers in the country, the biggest upsets, and why he put the list together in the first place. Joey also talks about last year’s winner - Autodidact - and which new breweries made the field of 64 and that people should keep an eye out for.

It’s been a long time coming for the both of us, and we’re finally ready(..ready enough) to have you all join us on this new adventure in life. Regarding the barrel projects that we love so dearly, please give us some time as those types of things require a heavy amount of time and patience.
