Imagine two cultures side by side👇

One teaches its youth that the highest honor is dying while killing enemies. The other teaches its youth that the purpose of life is to make the world better.

One glorifies suicide bombing. The other will release thousands of prisoners to save one life.

One hides weapons in schools, hospitals, and children’s bedrooms. The other coordinates vaccines and humanitarian aid for the very population it’s fighting.

And yet somehow the accusation is reversed: the horror committed against Jews is projected onto Jews.

That’s how libels work. Invert reality. Repeat the accusation. Let the lie travel.

Watch and decide for yourself.

“Liberal Jews who have been overwhelmingly Democratic in this country for a long time feel politically homeless. They’re just not sure where they fit right now…” Jonah Platt tells Elex Michaelson.

People really think they can explain Zionism… to Jews. 🤷‍♂️

Imagine telling any other people what their identity is supposed to mean.

Zionism is simple: Jews have the right to govern themselves
in the land they come from.

Nothing more. Nothing less.

It was incredibly special.✨
Honestly, it felt a little LeBron and Bronny. ❤️

For the first time ever, California’s legislature held an official Jewish American Heritage Month celebration honoring notable Jewish Californians — representing the 1.2 million Jews who call this state home.

I’m deeply honored to have been one of the 14 honorees… and even more honored to share that moment with my mom, Julie Platt. @juliebplatt

Watching her spend a lifetime leading, advocating, building, and showing up for the Jewish community shaped so much of who I am. Standing beside her on the Assembly floor was something I’ll never forget.🙏

It also meant a lot to share the day with inspiring friends and leaders like @mandanadayani and @elexmichaelson , and to celebrate alongside my longtime friend @asmjessegabriel, whose leadership of the California Legislative Jewish Caucus has been nothing short of remarkable. So proud of him.💪

Grateful as well for the friendship and support of my fantastic State Senator @benallenca and Assembly member @asmrickchavezzbur — truly one of the strongest allies our community could ask for.

And maybe the most moving part of the day: hearing leaders from Black, Latino, AAPI, Indigenous, Christian, and other caucuses speak with such warmth and solidarity about the Jewish community and our contributions to California and this country.

In a complicated moment, that mattered.

Very grateful Courtney @courtneyannplatt was there to witness it all with me.😘

A really beautiful day. ✨

🎙️ OUT NOW — Jamie-Lynn Sigler on Being Jewish with Jonah Platt.

Meadow Soprano. Proudly Jewish. Brutally honest.😎

She grew up Jewish on Long Island, went to Israel on Birthright and never came back the same. She gets “she’s a Zionist” in the comments of every single Instagram post she makes. She’s been living with MS for 25 years and only recently found the freedom of fully owning it.💪

And she came on this show and said things I don’t think she’s said anywhere else.🤯

On October 7th. On Hollywood. On Jewish identity. On what it means to be proud of who you are when the world is making that harder by the day.

Plus — Tony or Talmud. Possibly my finest work as a game creator. This one has everything. 😜

The Jewish world is at an inflection point. 💯

“We are on a generational change right now. And if we don’t do it ourselves — the world’s certainly doing it for us.”

@shmuellynn

☝️But the answer isn’t only political. It isn’t only about Israel. It’s spiritual too.

The love has to be there. The connection. The depth. The truth. The beauty of what it actually means to be Jewish — not just what we’re fighting against, but what we’re fighting for.

You have to have both. The national uplift and the internal spiritual uplift. And right now — we need both more than ever.

Being Jewish is as compelling as it is complex and as beautiful as the people who embody it.✨

That’s exactly why I do this and can’t imagine walking away from this. I feel deeply fulfilled by this work. And by the impact it’s having.

Not because of the guests. Not because of the numbers. Because of what happens when people feel safe enough to tell me the truth.

That’s the whole thing. That’s always been the whole thing.

Thank you for being here. 🙏✡️

You asked. We delivered. 🫡

All three parts of the Mental Iron Dome monologue series — combined in one place. ✨

If you only watch one thing about Israel, Palestine, and the Jews — make it this.☝️

Part 1 — If the Arabs wanted a Palestinian state more than they wanted to destroy the Jewish one — there would be a Palestinian state.
Part 2 — Antizionism is the othering of Jews from the Left.
Part 3 — The Jeremiah Effect. To be right in this work is to stand against a tide of people convinced you are wrong.

Truth doesn’t need a crowd. It needs people willing to stand still when the crowd moves.
