Seattle’s duo Flesh Produce unleash their new single, “ZAPZAP” off their upcoming record HYPER CHASM-a titillating, spastic track that feels equally volatile and mesmerizing. The ADHD-style production is a concoction of chaos that leaves the listener hyper-stimulated. Within two and half mins, a barrage of sensory overload generates real-time anxiety as the classic punk beats, piercing synth-stabs, and glitchy ‘90s rave elements collide to create relentless momentum. Designed in angular fashion, producer Karl Fagerstorm and Myla Profitt channel confusion directly into the composition, using the music to reflect the uncertainty and bewilderment of modern times - the psy-op inside of the psy-op.

My love for electronics has always been complicated, since there’s so much to learn. However, I’m a student of the craft and I will continue to search for my sound.

When it comes down to it, it’s all about genuine intentions without looking for validation… and trust me, it’s really fuckin’ hard. Some might say they don’t think about this, but I call bullshit.

Therefore, doing things on my own means cutting through the noise as I look for myself, by myself.
