so proud to share that The Gold Coast Darlings will have a listening at the British Museum on Friday 17th April as part of Running In The Halls presented by @britishmuseum and @myrunwaygroup

At the height of tension within the 1956 elections, two ambitious detectives are bent on using a naive singer of an all girl band, to frustrate the independence movement in the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast Darings explores political history, highlife music, and the sound of 1950s Gold Coast. 

as a storyteller, i appreciate sound as a time capsule in documenting, and archiving history. working on audio drama at @churchofstories revived this fading art form to a new generation. i’m grateful to the amazing cast, crew, collaborators and everyone who worked on The Gold Coast Darlings with me. thank you 🖤
