When you light @davidhowardthornton on fire...kinda.SWIPE through to the end to see all of the great work from the STREAM Doubles. Descriptions of each set are below. #JoinTheSTREAM
1 & 2 ... @frankstunts taking the heat for David Howard Thornton as Player 2. He did multiple burns and took the frying pan hit for good measure. All of which is made extra difficult and dangerous by the costume and the lack of ways to hide protection. Fun fact, the same team stunt team handled the car fire at the end of the film as well as all the fire stunts in Terrifier 2.
3 & 4 ... @jfroot of @jfr_media doing the dirty work for@thedeewallace and getting covered in blood and completely wrapped in saran wrap (even her face). When you've worked with Spielberg you get the day off when your only job would be to play dead. There is a lot more of Jamie to share as she pretty much filled in for every woman in the cast at one point or another.
5 & 6 ... @michaelloverdee of @seashelvesproductions as a hand model in place of @jadoncal. Clearly he had the best stand in job, no fire, no blood, no dirt, no danger except what might come from his new fiancee seeing this. Fun fact here is that the roof we shot on posed a lot of problems, from lack of power or even a ladder to get up to it, to cold and snow while we shot. So this shot was done as the very last one in the primary location of the hotel in Gettysburg. All in a hotel room with some clever lighting and a black sheet as a background. Movie Magic.
7 & 8 ... @gregwattkis_films being the fall guy for @timreidsr. Although the crew only had the pleasure of Greg's presence for one day, he may have taken the most discomfort on the set. (Although not pictured here is @charlesedwinpowell who did all of his own stunts including getting thrown into the ceiling in this scene) Greg got completely airborne more than once, flying through the door, into the closet and tossed into the wall and onto the floor in wide shots that couldn't use pads.
See the comments for the breakdown on 9 & 10. Then leave a comment about who's your favorite and what other behind the scenes facts you'd like to know.
