Growing up as a JDI dancer has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. When I first walked through those doors over ten years ago, I never could have imagined how much this studio would shape me into the person I am today. JDI has been so much more than just a place to dance. It has been a second home where I have learned valuable lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
Over the years, I have not only grown in my dance abilities, but I have also grown as a person. Dance has taught me discipline, confidence, hard work, and perseverance. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone and inspired me to become a leader. Through every long rehearsal I have learned the importance of dedication and teamwork.
One of the most meaningful parts of my experience at JDI has been the relationships I have built. Growing up alongside my teammates and sharing so many memories together has been something truly special. The friendships, support, and encouragement I have received from both my teammates and teachers have had such a positive impact on my life. These are relationships and memories that I know I will always cherish.
As I move forward into the next chapter of my life, I will always be grateful for everything JDI has given me. The lessons I have learned here have helped shape who I am today, and I know they will continue to guide me in the future. No matter where life takes me, JDI will always hold a special place in my heart.

I had the opportunity to walk into the doors of JDI at 10 years old, at the time I had no idea that walking into the studio would become so much more than just going to a few dance classes for a couple hours of my day. What began as just dance quickly became something so much deeper, a place that shaped me, challenged me, and ultimately became my second home.
Over the years, this studio became more than just somewhere I trained. It became a place where I felt understood, supported, and truly myself. Every single teacher and teammate has pushed me to grow, not only as a dancer, but as a person. On the days I struggled to see my own potential, they were always there to lift me up and show me just how valued I am. Through every moment, whether it was the excitement of winning, the crazy quick changes, or the quiet in-between times, I was never alone. I found friendships that turned into family, and memories I’ll carry with me forever.
Dance gave me a voice without needing words. It became my way to express everything I couldn’t always say, and that’s something I will forever be grateful for.
JDI is where I found myself, and as I move on to the next chapter at CBU, I have so much love for everything this beautiful place has given me! Thank you JDI, a part of my heart will always belong here.💕
