The great composer/conductor #GilEvans was born #onthisday in 1912 in Toronto. Thanks to @GilEvansProject , Gil's music has been enjoyed by modern audiences at Jazz Standard. You can enjoy the #bigband sounds on the "Lines of Color" album recorded on our stage produced/conducted by the one and only #ryantruesdell.

Pianist @KennyBarron and bassist @DaveHollandJazz have covered a vast amount of sonic terrain throughout their brilliant careers. They co-lead a trio that includes the spectacular drummer @JohnathanBlakeDrums, pairing versatility and musicianship.
