I had the honor of partnering with the Blank Space Agency (@blnkspaceagency), Netflix (@netflix) and Strong Black Lead (@strongblacklead) to produce high-end photo content surrounding the private screening event for She the People, a bold and fresh Netflix comedy series created by Tyler Perry and Niya Palmer. The show centers around Antoinette Dunkerson (played by @terrijvaughn ) , Mississippi’s first Black woman lieutenant governor, juggling politics, family, and the everyday chaos that comes with being a Black woman in power.
My job? To capture all the energy, emotion, and behind-the-scenes magic through stills that helped bring the soul of the series to life. From powerful moments on set to candid shots that told their own stories, I worked closely with the team to make sure every frame hit with purpose.
This wasn’t just another shoot; it was about representation, storytelling, and making sure Black excellence was seen and felt. Partnering with the talented crew at BLNK Space Agency, we crafted a visual vibe that aligned with the show’s unapologetic voice and cultural heartbeat.

The show centers around Antoinette Dunkerson (played by @terrijvaughn ) , Mississippi’s first Black woman lieutenant governor, juggling politics, family, and the everyday chaos that comes with being a Black woman in power.
