Sonntag, 17. Mai, 16 Uhr: Kuratorinführung anlässlich des internationalen Museumstags

@jankrtickaüber seine Arbeit „Ruf der Wildnis“:

„[…] Mehrere alte Telefone klingeln in zufälligen Abständen und erzeugen eine subtil dissonante akustische Umgebung. Wenn man den Hörer abhebt, ist nicht wie erwartet eine menschliche Stimme zu hören, sondern stattdessen das Geräusch von Regen zwischen den Bäumen, Vogelstimmen oder das Plätschern eines Baches.

Die Installation spielt mit der Spannung zwischen Erwartung und Wahrnehmung, zwischen Natürlichkeit und Künstlichkeit sowie zwischen Anthrophonie (Geräusche menschlicher Aktivitäten) und Geophonie (Geräusche natürlicher Kräfte, die in wilden, relativ ungestörten Lebensräumen auftreten). Durch die Gegenüberstellung dieser auditiven Bereiche regt das Werk zum Nachdenken darüber an, wie die Anwesenheit des Menschen die Klangtexturen der natürlichen Welt stört, ersetzt oder zu rekonstruieren versucht.“

"[…] Several old telephones ring at random intervals, creating a subtly dissonant acoustic environment. When you pick up the receiver, instead of hearing a human voice as you might expect, you hear birdsong, or the babbling of a stream.

The installation explores the tension between expectation and perception, between naturalness and artificiality, and between anthropophony (sounds produced by human activities) and geophony (sounds of natural forces that occur in wild, relatively undisturbed habitats). By juxtaposing these auditory realms, the work prompts reflection on how human presence disrupts, replaces, or attempts to reconstruct the sound textures of the natural world."

Výstava se tematicky věnuje momentům individuálního zaznamenávání prožitých událostí a zpětného vzpomínání si na ně. Zároveň otevírá dialog s jednou zaznamenanou uměleckou akcí. V archivu Lidické sbírky Jana Krtičku zaujal a inspiroval videozáznam performance Martina Zetové "Easy Marchers" (1998). Zvuková interaktivní instalace Jana Krtičky "Moc si z toho nepamatuji ..." (2025) rozšiřuje původní akci o subjektivní a proměnlivou paměťovou stopu.

The exhibition focuses on moments of individual recording of experienced events and subsequent recollection of them. At the same time, it opens a dialogue with one documented artistic action. In the Lidice Art Collection archive, artist Krtička was captivated and inspired by the video recording of Zetová’s performance "Easy Marchers" (1998). Krtička's interactive sound installation "I don't remember much about it..." (2025) expands the artwork with a subjective and changing memory trace.

Ateliér Přírodní materiály zkoumá podstatu materiálů a technologií, abychom je kreativně uchopili. Tvoříme objekty, sochy, instalace i experimentální design, přičemž klíčová je pro nás fyzická zkušenost a kontext místa. Hledáme správné proporce a významové vztahy, tříbíme ideje skrze dialog a spolupráci. Název nás neomezuje – zkoušíme vše, co vede k přesvědčivému výsledku.
