Hi All 👋
It’s been a long time since I’ve shown my face around here! If you’re new to my page, welcome, this is me - Jan! I’ve been in the baking industry for a little over 10 years now, and in March will have been running my business for 8 years. It is amazing how time flies and I am quite amazed that I’ve been able to do this job on my own for this long. While I’ve built up a lot of skill and know-how throughout the years, I feel like I am still finding my bearings; still learning and still have a lot of room for improvement. I do find myself wondering when my passion for this career path will fizzle out, but seeing as how I’m still here after all these years I don’t think I’ll be giving up any time soon~Thank you to everyone who has followed and supported me all this time! New and old, I am grateful to have gotten to connect with you on a personal and professional level! Special thanks to @jennyrosophotography for these lovely branding shots of myself! I’m for sure not a picture person, so committing to a photoshoot was a huge deal for me! Thanks for making me look and feel at ease, Jenny!

안녕하세요! 요즘 한국어를 사용하는 고객분들이 많이 연락을 주셔서, 처음으로 한국어로 자기소개를 하게됩니다~ 제 이름은 김젠 (Jan Kim Grumbles)입니다. 올해 36살이고 미국에서 태어나고 자란 한국계 미국인입니다. 남편과 함께 시애틀 지역에서 산 지 약 10년 정도 되었어요. 애리조나에서 제과제빵을 전공한 후, 시애틀로 이사와서 제빵 업계에서 전문적으로 일하게 되었습니다. 몇몇 베이커리에서 약 일년반간 경력을 쌓은 후, 독립해서 제 사업을 시작하기로 결심했습니다. 제 사업을 독립적으로 운영한 지도 벌써 8년이 됐는데, 되돌아보면 저 자신도 참 놀랍다고 느껴져요!확실히 쉽지 않았고, 지금도 여전히 방향을 찾아가는 중이지만, 혼자서 사업을 운영하는 것이 힘들어도 제가 하는 일에서 많은 만족과 즐거움을 느끼고 있습니다. 현재 100일 및 첫돌 파티, 기념일, 베이비/브라이덜 샤워 등과 같은 소규모 프라이빗 행사에 특화되어 있습니다. 다만, 현재 웨딩 케이크는 제공하지 않고 있습니다. 이 일을 계속할 수 있는 이유는 저만큼이나 제 베이킹과 실력을 즐기고 인정해 주시는 고객님들 덕분입니다. 진심으로 감사드립니다. 저의 작은 사업이 성공적으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 계속 찾아와 주시고 응원해 주시면 감사하겠습니다~
