Finally after 3 long years of writing I’m thrilled to say that my book ‘Mixing in Flow’ has been published! Probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, it’s one thing to talk about mixing and another to put it down into text form. Very proud that it is out in the world now. I look forward to sharing my love of mixing sound with many people ! There is also a new ear training app associated with the book live on my website. More info to follow. Links for purchase options in the link in bio.

Gig at @20nine30 on 29 March 2026.

Had the opportunity to extend on some experiments started in Nairobi and building towards a larger scale work for Copenhagen at the end of Summer. Thanks so much to @eldar_tagi for the opportunity to play at the wonderful venue and thanks so much to Timo for hosting a great event. A real pleasure.

29th march // doors at 8pm

@janearnison / Sophie Watzlawick/ @granitaur

This evening brings together two distinctly different sonic worlds: Jane Arnison, Berlin-based Australian sound artist and composer, builds immersive environments through modular synthesis and spatial sound — where listening becomes something felt as much as heard. Granitaur (Massimiliano Cerioni) moves into density and weight: didgeridoo, guitars, and feedback systems slowly accrete into heavy, resonant structures that sit somewhere between minimalism, drone, and noise.

In between of those two acts:

Sophie Watzlawick

where night falls a thud . unlimited interlude
An invisible off-screen disaster leading to a musical interlude in dark matter.

Sophie Watzlawick (16mm Film & Concept)
Guillaume Cailleau (interlude . Machines)

30th march // doors 8pm
@sharonlockhartstudio / @kreusercailleau

After nearly a decade of joint practice, Kreuser/Cailleau were separated at the end of their Southeast Asia tour in 2020, stranded by the rising pandemic at opposite ends of the globe. Lockdowns, and later life, brought the duo’s work to a halt for what would become a five-year pause. In a mini-residency at 20nine30, the duo shared the individual practices that emerged during those years apart, revisited older materials, and considered new ones.

On 29 and 30 March Kreuser/Cailleau will present materials they are currently engaged with, together with films and sonic interventions by filmmakers Sophie Watzlawick (29th) and Sharon Lockhart (30th).

Sharon Lockhart

Double Tide, 2009
16mm film transferred to HD, color/sound, 99 minutes

Double Tide documents the work of a female clam digger in the mudflats of coastal Maine. Expanding the focus of Lockhart’s films Lunch Break (2008) and Exit (2008), Double Tide creates a portrait of a relatively unseen and singular form of labor. Filmed on the rare occasion in which low tide occurs twice within daylight hours—once at dawn and once at dusk—Double Tide takes as its subject a worker whose job is defined by the most elemental and unchangeable forces of nature.

After their electric 2025 performance Resistance, Mizizi Ensemble returns to Kilele, not with answers, but with deeper questions.

The experimental supergroup takes the stage at The Rift for a new work that continues the conversation they began last year. With Labdi Ommes (KE) @studiolabdi , Monrhea (KE) @monrhea_ , Nyokabi Kariũki (KE) @nkariuki_ ,Bernt Isak Wærstad (NO) @berntisak and Jane Arnison (AU)@janearnison , Mizizi now ask: what remains?

If resistance carries the promise of hope, change and freedom , what does freedom actually mean? Freedom for whom? At what cost? How is it lived, contested and embodied across different contexts?

What remains… invites the audience into a visceral ritual of sound, space and gathering ,exploring freedom as both a promise and a paradox. Join us at The Rift - Manohar Center on 25th Feb from 8:00pm - 10:00pm

*************************************

We are thrilled to invite you to the first showing of Phygital Intimacy, an XR multiplayer live performance developed during the AURORA XR Fellowship!

As part of the XXII Conference on Culture and Computer Science (KUI) at the Kulturforum Berlin, we’ll share the outcome of our nine-month collaboration and we can’t wait to experience it with you! 💙💜

🔮 WHAT? Phygital Intimacy – XR-Multiplayer Live Performance
⏳ WHEN? September 25, 17:30 (starting at 6pm)
🔥 WHERE? Kulturforum Berlin, Matthäikirchplatz, 10785 Berlin
👾 REGISTRATION: Link see bio!

𝓟𝓱𝔂𝓰𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓘𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓪𝓬𝔂 is a collaborative project by performative media artist Lisa Kaschubat, dancer and choreographer Tasha Hess-Neustadt and composer/engineer Jane Arnison.
Together, they merge XR (Extended Reality), contemporary dance, and generative music into a new kind of stage format. This interactive performance transforms performers and audience members into co-players in a mixed-reality environment. Through movement, sound, and collaborative game mechanics, we’ll explore new forms of connection and co-creation.

Created with the AURORA XR School for Artists at HTW Berlin @aurora_school_for_artists @htwberlin.

New music out today! A refiguring of my live set at @kwia.berlin a couple of months ago. Built from audio fragments of my resistance installation/performance piece ‘Space for what is…’ @collegium_hungaricum_berlin last year. Thanks to @_magss___ , @catrina_sonora and @dielambfor lending their voices and to everyone who came to either of my shows that sparked this release. Link in bio ⬆️
