Stoked to share this @eaststreetarchives edit from our Artshow this past March at Homesick in Stratton, VT.

This trip felt like more than just a snowboard event. It felt like a time capsule and a reunion. Like a high five between generations. A reminder that no matter where we’re from or where we’re going, this culture ties us all together.

A massive, thank you to @barryduganvt and @garyland —not just for hosting, but for everything you’ve poured into snowboarding over the years.

Legend and check this, a little follow up from the episode and some context behind one of the stories @jamiemlynn shared …

So Jamie had given some @_9teenten_ stickers to a kid at his son’s school after the kid recognized him. The reason the kid even knew who Jamie was? His dad had passed down the knowledge not just about Jamie as a snowboarder but also about his company 1910. Jamie came back the next day with a stack for him.

Fast forward to now, here’s a little update Jamie sent me after the podcast aired:

“Dropped my boy off at school this morning and when I came out I was met by kid I spoke about in the podcast! He was so stoked, he said his dad showed him the podcast and how much he appreciated the mention. Made my day!!! Then he gave me this sticker, it’s his band! THE BULLIES. So fucking awesome. Thank you again Jody.”

Honestly, such a cool full circle moment. The dad hears the podcast, the kid hears the story and then Jamie ends up getting a sticker back from this young kid who just started a band called THE BULLIES 🔥❤️

That’s the kind of stuff that makes snowboarding so special. Different generations connecting through the culture. Fucking rad.

Showed up a few days before @thebombhole 🏆 and got properly stuck in, hand-painting this custom mural version of PSYCONAUT for the back of the Hellride stage. Bit of graft, bit of chaos — turned up!Now the old girl’s headed to her final resting place at BH HQ, where she can hang about with snowboard royalty 24/7. Beauty, eh.
