Happy 1 year to my third album Five Prayers:)
This album was never supposed to be an album and that’s what I love about it the most. I was sitting in my room depressed as hell working on processing some very heavy moments in lifeand then from all of those dark days came some of the most beautiful music I’ve ever written.
I feel so blessed to have been able to share this project live so many different places over the last year. Hearing what this project means to y’all after shows or through your messages has been so warm and beautiful and I thank y’all for that🤎
Huge thank you to @_jwords @lizzie_harp @edwin_kenzo_huet @hazelafrodite and Diego for pouring into this project the way you did.
With this album also came the birth of my label @jaidrecords and while being independent has its challenges it’s also such a beautifully rewarding way of creating and sharing my thoughts with y’all. I was hoping to have some vinyls for this project for the 1 year anniversary but it’s way too expensive for ya girl atm😌. So I hope y’all keep listening to this project in its current form for years and years to come.
Thank y’all for all the love you’ve shown this project over the last year and I can’t wait to share with y’all album 4 that is in the works:)
