Every year, Eric Spears paces the 16-minute mile group at the @studentsrunla Friendship Run 30k. If students cross the finish line before him, they get to run the @asics @lamarathon. If they don't, their dreams of running from Dodger Stadium to Century City are dashed.
Thankfully, the runners have a secret weapon: Volunteers who step up to "Run Them In" the last three miles to ensure they #BeatEric. Congrats to those who qualified to run LA Marathon!! See you at Dodger Stadium!!

Thanks to @runwithramp and @cjrc_sherman_oaks for the morning trail miles at Top of Reseda! Special shoutout to @dylankylebrown for the @salomon shoe demo! Shoes felt great, especially on the downhill singletrack segment!

It surprised it took this long to finally do this. Been wanting to stop mid-run for a street vendor taco for forever.
Thanks to @_thatbenji for running ahead to order and hook up the tacos with all the essentials. Next time, less salsa. And maybe a few napkins π€£
That one time I won my age group at a @socaltrail race π₯²
I don't put too much pressure on time, performance or results, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't super proud of taking the top spot in my Age Group at Singletrack Stampede this past weekend. My goal isn't to "win" anything. It's never been about being the fastest. I just enjoy being out there with the community, taking in the awe inspiring views and crushing the epic routes that we trail runners love. But to be able to step up to the top spot of the podium felt super cool. I savored it because it's likely my last. π€£

Had a blast running Chesebro Trailhead for the first time. Surprisingly placed 5th overall and 1st in Age Group in the 10k. Just happy to toe the startline since I've mostly been working the finish line festival to capture social media content.

The @trail_coasters_sfv run weekly out of LA Mission College's East Campus. Join @mee_mooch, @anthonygodinezgonzalez and their crew for trail miles!
The @valleyrunnersla rotate their meetup locations monthly. Follow them on Instagram to see where theyβre meeting for their weekly Thursday 8 pm run!
