What originated as a no-holds barred run up a mountain in 1970’s has turned into a grassroots community running event. This classic trail run is one of the hardest 10k races in Southern California and features a $2,500 prize purse. There’s even a “Downhill Mile” cash bonus and an award for the fastest “Local Legend.”

Kids can toe the start line of a 1-kilometer race that starts on the Tough Topanga 10k course, veers off onto a winding singletrack and shoots back down the Tough Topanga chute.

The Pacifico Ultra 50k on May 30 will serve as a Sterling Silver Ticket Race for the 2026 Angeles Crest 100 (@angelescrest100mileofficial). Four Recipients (Top 2 Male and Top 2 Female) of the 2026 Pacifico Ultra 50k will earn guaranteed entry into the prestigious October 100-miler.
