The Ingredients (Serves 2)
1 Freshly Squeezed Lemon
2 Slices of Ginger (muddled)
50ml Homemade Ginger Syrup
50ml Homemade Hibiscus Syrup
50ml Egg white
Cinnamon (infused in syrups)
100ml Jameson Blended Irish Whiskey
Method
Add all ingredients to Shaker and Dry shake
Add Ice
Wet shake
Serve in Dessert Glass
Garnish
1 slice of Camamelized Lemon
Splotches of Hibiscus Syrup for the 'Blossom'
The heart of this drink is rooted in the Zobo culture of Nigeria. I took the hibiscus and ginger ingredients that define our local heat and refreshment and treated them with the respect of a high-end craft cocktail. It represents the artisanal branding and botanical focus youβre bringing to Lagos.
