Labyrinth
⚀ ⚁ ⚂ ⚃ ⚄ ⚅
This project has lived in my head and heart for a long time. About a year and a half ago, I was diagnosed with OCD, something I’ve unknowingly lived with my whole life. Having the clarity of knowing why my brain works the way it does brought both relief and an ongoing journey.
OCD can feel like being trapped in a maze of spirals, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and freeze responses pulling you in every direction. It’s exhausting, frustrating, and yet strangely fascinating. Labyrinth is my attempt to dance through that maze, to turn the spiral into movement, the freeze into expression, and the exhaustion into art.
This is the first of many pieces I hope to create about OCD and mental health, because I believe our minds, every twist, turn, and labyrinth deserve to be seen and understood. My hope is that this work resonates with anyone navigating their own maze, and helps them feel a little less alone.

GONE, GONE THANK YOU
This truly feels like a full circle moment from my childhood.
We shot this in Colorado where I was born and raised, in a little town by the name of Estes Park. This cabin where we shot is insanely nostalgic to me. My grandparents lived in this cabin when I was growing up and I would always waddle on over to be with them and to have our little sleepovers. I’ve always known that creating art and story telling was what gave my heart the most fulfillment and my whole life I’ve been curating stories, characters, and places in my head to create for others to feel and experience. To think about where I am now and the people, the art, and the love I get to experience every single day makes my little 6 year old heart burst with absolute joy and happiness!
A few months ago I got work with some really incredible people on this project, one of which being my good friend @cinnabontography_ ! We’ve been planting the seed to work with each for SO LONG (like 6 years) and we finally did! I’m endlessly grateful for this team! The passion and talent that consumed this set by these amazing people makes my heart melt. Kind of crazy how a little vision I had literally staring at a ceiling of an airport a year ago can actually come to life in the form of movement, film, & art.
I’m beyond excited to continue to put little pieces of my brain out into the universe!
