It’s been a wild ride since I got my first camera and I can’t help but think about all of the experiences and friends I’ve met because of that. It’s changed my life and it’s still something I get a lot of fulfillment from.
Some shots are me hosting @kick.the.ladder which has been the fruition of all my experiences in film and imparting my favorite way of approaching the medium to an otherwise very industrial art form.

This was the first announcement of my idea to make practicing film accessible. Recorded March 2019 but everything still holds true to what Kick The Ladder is.
This is the first announcement of Kick The Ladder in 2019.
By the second month we were making 30+ films a week.
100+ people packed in a two car garage to watch locally made films.
Almost 7 years later we’ve made 4,300+ films in 110 weeks.
70+ hours of 1-minute films.
200+ first time directors.
For years we couldn’t handle the growth and even said from stage to not tell anyone about it.
That’s why it’s still all confusing to new people. But now that we have a 48 films cap, we can handle having anyone attend and if you can’t present your film you can still submit your film on kicktheladder.com
Last Year at @atlantafilmfestival we got to explain what Kick The Ladder is.
We’ve been invited back to show 11 original films being made this week.

@peaberrycomedyslam chose 10 comedy films from kicktheladder.com to show at their Comedy Short Film Slam.
We’ve demonstrated @kick.the.ladder at the @peaberryfest last year so it’s been great work with them again with comedy films.
We roll the dice at @atlantafilmfestival April 24th
And show 12 films made during the festival, at the festival at @thetaraatlanta May 1st 3:30pm
Anyone who makes a film for the website that week will be announced at the end of the panel.
