✨ We are delighted to announce that International Magic Studio will create the visual identity for the State of Fashion Biennale 2026 in Arnhem.

Under the title Available to Promise; Hidden Systems, Shared Futures, the State of Fashion Biennale explores the invisible infrastructures behind the global fashion system — from logistics and data to labor, ecology, and technology.
The upcoming edition shifts the focus from garments to the systems that sustain and shape them, examining how supply chains, technological forces, and ecosystems underpin the global fashion industry. It builds on the central question that guides all State of Fashion platform activities: how can fashion and textiles contribute to a better world?

Conceived by the Biennale’s 2026 curatorial team - Anne Zhou, Anouchka van Driel ｜何京蕴, and Shanu Walpita - Available to Promise; Hidden Systems, Shared Futures draws on the language of logistics to investigate what promises fashion makes, to whom, and how these might be reimagined. The Biennale maps the technological and cultural processes that anticipate demand, stage scarcity, and orchestrate movement, revealing how these practices intersect with human and non-human agents, ancestral knowledge, and algorithmic intelligence.

💚 International Magic Studio is a systems-led design studio creating identities and experiences that shape contemporary culture. The studio will collaborate with the curatorial team and the spatial design team at OMA to translate the exhibition’s core pillars into an engaging visual communication system. The identity will reference and subvert narratives of circular fashion, distilling them into a set of compelling and impactful messages.
