𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜.𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗣𝗢.𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗘 di Antonello Tudisco è un viaggio performativo in due capitoli che mette in dialogo corpo, città, luce e memoria, intrecciando danza, arti visive e visioni contemporanee.
𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗢 apre la serata ispirandosi ai contrasti di Caravaggio, allo sguardo di Mapplethorpe e alla poesia corsara di Pasolini: i corpi dei performer diventano materia viva attraversata dalla luce, tra identità, resistenza e disobbedienza.
A seguire, 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗔, ispirato in particolare a Le Sette Opere di Misericordia di Caravaggio, trasforma la scena in un potente “dipinto vivente” che riflette sul bisogno contemporaneo di cura, solidarietà e umanità. Un corpo collettivo che si spezza e prova a ricomporsi, fragile ma necessario.

“Pietas” is the second part of an artistic project that began in 2019 with the show “Act of Mercy”. It was born from a question “what would happen if humanity lost the feeling of pity?’
Pietas is structured as a fragmented parable; the engine of its action is the mysterious cry of a child whose origin the dancers instinctively and unfruitfully seek.
Their search leads them through 3 painful stations that represent fractured moments of denied pity towards 3 characters: a terminally ill mother, a homeless man beaten to death in general indifference, and the poet Pier Paolo Pasolini massacred in a circumstance, still obscure after many years. The show is inspired, in part by Michelangelo’s work, which is entwined with Pasolini’s poetics, with an in-depth analysis of the “miraculous” and “religious” vision of the world even if far from a confessional setting as the poet himself declares in a famous interview.

The parable ends with an unexpected fact, a glimmer of light and a sign of hope and regeneration that for a moment drives away the ghosts of guilt, but perhaps only for the ephemeral duration of a
show

Body.Light is an artistic crossing.
A movement through bodies, through light, through time.

Through dance, performance, and installation, the project unfolds a dialogue between three distant yet radically connected visions. Caravaggio, Mapplethorpe, and Pasolini inhabit the work not as references, but as living forces—shadows that cut the space, lights that wound the flesh, gazes that expose what cannot be hidden.

Their languages are born from friction: between darkness and revelation, desire and violence, sacredness and exposure. From this tension emerge images that belong to no single era—images that echo the past while burning within the present.

Body.Light transforms this legacy into action.
A corsair tale—free, unruly, unclassifiable—where bodies become territory, resistance, and testimony.
On stage, light does not illuminate: it strikes, it interrupts, it reveals.
The body receives it, absorbs it, resists it.
The body falls, compresses, opens, and endures.

This project begins with the body as an archetype.
A fragile and powerful surface where identity is constantly rewritten.The body is city, border, landscape.
A place of passage where collective memory and individual experience collide, giving rise to a vision that moves from the intimate toward the universal.
