All glory to God for the incredible work I’ve been able to do over the years. You couldn’t tell me when I started dancing at 17 years old that I would one day become a choreographer, let alone shape movement for some of the biggest artists and stages in the world.

📌 No one is coming to save you. You have to create your own momentum.

📌 Talent might get you in the room. Character, professionalism, and consistency are what keep you there.

📌 You are not just a creative. You are a business. If you don’t treat it like one, it won’t pay you like one.

📌 Discipline will take you further than motivation ever will. Motivation fades. Standards don’t.

Long Live The Renaissance 🪩

One of my favorite numbers I got to create for @beyonce Renaissance world tour and one of my favorite teaching moments bringing this to BTB camp.

Our alumni learned and filmed full stage choreography in just a few hours. This is what it looks like to train for the job!

What working choreographers actually look for when booking dancers. 🗣️✨

💎Be undeniably talented. This is still the foundation. Do not skip this step.
💎 Be a good human. Your character is what keeps you in rooms your talent got you into.
💎 Be professional. On time, off your phone, full out, and have a positive attitude.
💎Be adaptable. Things shift fast, and the dancers who roll with it are the ones who get called back every time.

These are the qualities we train and develop inside the BTB Intensive and I’m only doing one tour this year. This is it.

The only way to break through is through..🗣️✨

Stop looking outward for validation and start looking inward. The noise, the comparisons, the opinions. None of that will get you there. Progression is an inside job.

Shares have to be one of my favorite parts of our events. I get to coach dancers in real time and watch breakthrough’s happen right before my eyes. What a beautiful exchange when someone is vulnerable and open enough to share and has a mentor with the right heart posture.
