Alhamdulillah. 🙏🏽
I can’t even put into words what this moment means. Every tear, every bruise, every setback, it all led me here. Winning the IBF International Title wasn’t just about a belt.. it was about proving to myself that everything I’ve poured into this sport, every sacrifice, was worth it.
From the early mornings to the lonely nights, from pushing through pain to finding strength, this was built on pure heart and faith. Those closest to me have seen my journey, seen me fight my way up in the division, and to stand here now as the champion.. it means everything.
To my coaches, my team, and everyone who’s been in my corner @coachakkawy @akkawyboxingclub @coach_watkins @raymorcomb @coachsubotic thank you for believing, for pushing me, for helping me become the fighter and the woman I am today. None of this happens alone.
A special thank you to @sam_labruna for making all of this possible and giving me the platform to showcase what I can do. Your belief and effort made this moment happen.
And to my good friend @beylal_racheha thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping bring this fight to life.
The team on fight week who made everything so smooth on fight night @styllsjay @billiejeantheartist @vahigo @thecombatphysioguy thank you.
To those who doubted me, who counted me out, who thought I couldn’t do it, thank you too. You made me dig deeper. You made me fight harder. Because belief has always been my power, and I never stopped believing in myself. The power of manifestation is real.
This win isn’t just about boxing. It’s about resilience, faith, and purpose. It’s for every person who’s ever been told “you can’t.”
The sky was never the limit, it’s only the beginning.
I am Mai Soliman. I am that champion. And there’s so much more coming. 🫶🏽

We did it. Alhumdill’Allah 🤲🏽
WBC Gold Super Flyweight Champion. 🇪🇬🇦🇺
It’s been a long road to this one, a tough camp, sacrifices through Ramadan and fasting, and a lot of moments that tested me. But I came out stronger, more focused, and more grounded in who I am.
To my coaches and my team, thank you for showing up for me every single day. For pushing me when I needed it, backing me when it mattered, and helping me evolve not just as a fighter, but as a person.
And to everyone who supported, whether you bought a ticket, copped some merch, streamed the fight, or just sent a message, that energy means everything. It lifts the fighter. I felt it all, and I’m grateful.
This journey isn’t just about titles. It’s about purpose. Growth. Proving something to myself.
We’re just getting started. We keep stacking. Keep chasing. Every step forward leads to that world title.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single person that has supported from day dot. 🏆❤️🔥

One week to go.
Back to my roots. Back to Egypt🇪🇬
World title on the line under the Pyramids.
History awaits 🇪🇬🇦🇺
@ringmagazine
Our pronouns are: ya/habibi
Couldn’t be more proud of my girl Mai, who’s about to take a world title shot in her home city, Cairo… literally in front of the pyramids !! 🇪🇬
There aren’t many MENA women taking up space in combat sports which is exactly why moments like this matter. To see women from our background stepping into these spaces, unapologetically & on a world stage means everything.
Go make history bby girl 🥹❤️

@SceneSportsME: Years before Australian-Egyptian boxer Mai Soliman's title fight was announced as one of the highlights of the undercard for Glory in Giza - the high-profile boxing showcase at the Pyramids - she dreamt it. In an interview with SceneSports, the 10-1 super flyweight recalled the moment and how surreal it felt.
"I woke up. I cried. I had goosebumps all over," she says. "I've had this vision ever since."
Soliman spoke that dream into reality on a podcast in Egypt. Before the card was fully built, she sat down on an Egyptian podcast and said it out loud. She wanted to fight in front of the Pyramids and bring a world title back to Egypt.
Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority who’s been reshaping professional boxing, caught the clip and shared it. He flew to Cairo a few weeks later, and announced Glory in Giza.
Now, Soliman will challenge undefeated Japanese southpaw Mizuki Hiruta for the WBO super flyweight title on May 23rd, in the city she calls home.
