RECIPE
● Hy-Vee Lemon-Lime Soda
● Red fruit punch drink
● Blue Hawaiian punch drink
● Glacier Cherry Gatorade
● Strawberries and Blueberries, optional
Fill ice cube trays with the red fruit punch drink, the blue Hawaiian punch, and the Glacier Cherry Gatorade;
freeze completely.
Add some red, white, and blue ice cubes to the glasses then top with the Hy-Vee lemon-lime soda.

You guys know that grilling season is my absolute favorite - so I am SO excited to celebrate the kickoff of another summer of grilling with my friends over at @hyvee! Hy-Vee is my go-to for all things grilling - their meat counter is stocked and ready for you!
Today we are making some absolutely delicious Grilled Garlic Butter Steak Kabobs with Chimichurri - it just screams summer, is packed with flavor and super easy to make!

Steak Kabobs:
2 lbs Hy-Vee Prime Reserve or Choice Reserve: top sirloin, ribeye or New York strip
¼ cup Hy-Vee soy sauce
2 tablespoons avocado oil
kosher salt, for seasoning
ground black pepper, for seasoning
Garlic Butter:
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoons garlic, minced
Chimichurri:
½ cup fresh parsley
⅓ cup Hy-Vee extra light olive oil
⅛ cup each: fresh cilantro and fresh basil
2 whole garlic cloves
1 tablespoon each: shallot, lemon juice, dried oregano and red wine vinegar
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
-Preheat grill to 500 degrees F. Ensure grill grates are clean.
-Cut up steak into 1 inch pieces and add to a bowl. Add soy sauce and avocado oil. Toss to coat; set aside.
-Add chimichurri ingredients to a small food processor or blender; blend until smooth. Set aside.
-Add steak pieces to your metal skewers (I used 3). Season with salt and pepper.
-Add Garlic Butter ingredients to a small skillet or saucepan; turn to “warm” and let butter melt slowly while you cook your kabobs.
-Add steak kabobs to hot grill and sear for approx. 8-12 minutes (rotating every 2-3 minutes) or until they have reached your desired doneness (use a digital meat thermometer) - 135 is medium-rare. Remove from grill and let rest 5 minutes. Brush with garlic butter.
-Serve with chimichurri and some rice and feel free to add in some grilled veggies in there!

Steak Elote Loaded Fries
@hyvee is always my one-stop shop for grilling season. They have all the fresh ingredients and an amazing selection of high-quality meats to choose from.
Recipe
• Use oil as a binder then season the Hy-Vee Prime Reserve ribeyes with your favorite steak seasoning (I used Kinder’s prime steak seasoning)
• Grab your fresh sweet corn and coat them in oil, then grill over direct heat. Rotate every minute until they have good char on then remove them and let them cool down.
• Grill the steaks over direct heat flipping them every minute until they reach your desired doneness.
• Assemble the elote salad by cutting the corn from the cob. In a bowl, combine the corn, red bell pepper, jalapeños, red onion, cilantro, cotija cheese, mayo, chili powder, smoked paprika and lime juice. Mix then set aside.
• Slice the steak against the grain after a 10-minute rest, then cut it again into bite sized pieces.
• Assemble on a bed of fries with warm queso, steak, elote salad and a drizzle of chipotle crema sauce.
Elote Salad ingredients
4 ears grilled corn
½ diced red bell pepper
2 diced jalapeños
1/4 cup diced red onion
½ cup finely chopped cilantro
½ cup cotija cheese
2 tbsp mayo
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Juice from 1 lime
