Hi Everyone , today was the last competition of the season , the Winter PRS . It was a close race but a managed to take first place💪. The conditions were very good, cold, no wind and a little sun, the props were challengingand the distances up to 100 meters. My Airmaks Katran with the Humaand Leupold scope regulator performed 100% very happy with this setup. Terrier Tripods thanks for the foto’s. 2026 is around the corner, the preparations are in progress for the RMAC and EBR , i will keep you all updated on the equipment and tuning off the new guns and ammo. Today I installed the Huma Air PCT (Precision Control Trigger) in my FX Impact M3.

I have always liked the Impact platform, but the trigger has always been below par for me until the Impact M4 came out.
This trigger has been developed by a friend of mine in collaboration with Huma air, who took it into production.
Well, I can now understand why😅

This is arguably the best modification for any impact up to the Impact M4 (which already has got a great trigger from the factory.)

It can be set very light, and it will always be safe due to the true 2 stage design (sear is retracted during the first stage pull, see video.)

Admittedly, it can be a bit finicky to adjust for less technical people, but on Huma's website you can find a very good user manual with clear instructions.
It is pre-set from the factory, so it can be built in without adjusting as well and it will work safe and fine that way.

However, I like my triggers to be really light and crisp, and I always try to get the most out of it.
When some effort has been put in, it can be compared with the best match triggers out there, and I have felt A LOT of match triggers over the years.

In conclusion, if you want to get the most out of any pre-M4 Impact, this trigger is highly recommended!👌

FX Impact Speed Magazine Testing and rainy day kitchen table Airgun competition prep for the Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge 2025!

The weather has been garbage the last few days, but always be Airgunner prepping! The FX Impact has the most after market accessory development in our sport. This is my FX Impact M4 speed gun shorty decked out in Saber Tactical gear with my DonnyFL Ryu Airgun suppressor tucked inside the TRS rail. Today’s highlight is on how to feed this rig FAST with fast mag swaps!

The new OEM Magazines from FX are waaaaay better than the previous versions with the Sideshot style lids and smooth cycling action able to handle heavy for caliber ammo.

In my testing across multiple 3rd party magazine manufactures, I have a few other top picks that can shaveeven more time off your magazine swaps during speed challenges.

First up is the HUMA-AIR XL magazine with its magnetic lid. What I found with this design is they added a little bit different of a cut out on the lip that engages with the barrel in the breach. This cut out made the click-in noticeable in how fast and repeatable I was able to do mag swaps. Definitely grab a few of these magazines to shave time off your speed challenges!

Next up are the Orion Iguana Hunter magazines. These are hands-down the coolest looking design but this design has purpose. The lid and body of the magazine have a magnetic closure, but the tabs that stick out give you an additional grab and leverage on the magazine when doing fast mag swaps. I LOVE THE ORION MAGS!

So get out there and practice those magazine swaps because every second counts!
