MANCHESTER ART FAIR IS BACK FOR 2024 WITH LIVE SCREEN PRINT EVENTS

@mcrartfair is back once again for another year of exhibitions, talks, workshops, Q&As, parties and loads more, kicking off on 15 November.

And for those looking to add a new string to their artistic bow, Hot Bed Press in Salford will be among the myriad collectives bringing their skills to Manchester Central, from etching to lino-cutting.

An open-access print workshop based in Salford, running since 1994, they have a wealth of knowledge, expertise and equipment covering all aspects of print-making.

At the Art Fair, Hot Bed Press will be hosting two screen-printing workshop sessions - one each day - as well as selling prints made by their artists during the print demos.

Coordinated by Hot Bed Press in Salford, the 20:20 Print Exchange has been taking place since 2009 and brings together artwork from participating print workshops around the world.

We’re now displaying a curated selection of first editions created for the 2024 Print Exchange, showcasing a diverse range of printing styles, methods and subject matter.

We had so much fun at the Makers District Identity launch night last week!

The turnout was amazing, thank you so much to everyone who came, the building was buzzing with atmosphere and it was amazing to see. Thank you so everyone who helped out and made it such a special evening. And if you’re new here- welcome! Keep an eye out for more and more printmaking opportunities in the horizon.
