We decided it would be insulting not to pay tribute to Peter Steele of @typeonegativeofficial one of my biggest influences in the 1990s and of course Peter sang to the darkness that was the 90s and the 80s. We all knew that our heads were being fucked with Peter saying about it and he sang about the after effects of us being programmed. He warned us in almost a prophetic way of what is actually happening now in 2026 he was a profit of sorts, not to sound cliché, but a profit of doom. I was loosely acquainted with him through his girlfriend, and when I got the news he had passed away. It was very devastating. I have never really got closure over it, but it taught me not to put your influences on a pedestal as sad as that sounds. The man was a wonderful guy. He was hilarious. He was tortured just like the rest of us. He was honest about it, and people didn’t like that, but I love that he was brutally honest.
